Exercise In The Morning!

If I had to pick a single factor that I thought was most important in a successful exercise or weight loss program, it would be to exercise first thing in the morning... every morning! Some mornings, you may just be able to fit in a 10 minute walk, but it's important to try to do something every morning. So why mornings?...1. Over 90% of people who exercise *consistently*, exercise in the morning. If you want to exercise consistently, odds are in your favor if you exercise first thing in the morning.2. When you exercise early in the morning, it "jump starts" your metabolism and keeps it elevated for hours, sometimes up to 24 hours! That means you're burning more calories all day long just because you exercised in the morning!3. When you exercise in the morning you'll be *energized* for the day! Personally, I feel dramatically different on days when I have and haven't exercised in the morning.4. Many people find that morning exercise "regulates" their appetite for the day...that they aren't as hungry and that they make better food choices. Several people have told me that it puts them in a "healthy mindset"5. If you exercise at about the same time every morning... and ideally wake-up at about the same time on a regular basis, your body's endocrine system and circadian rhythms adjust to that, and physiologically, some wonderful things happen; A couple of hours *before* you awaken, your body begins to prepare for waking and exercise because it "knows" it's about to happen...why? because it "knows" you do the same thing just about everyday. You benefit from that in several ways...a) It's MUCH easier to wake-up. When you wake-up at different times everyday, it confuses your body and thus it's never really "prepared" to awaken.b) Your metabolism and all the hormones involved in activity and exercise begin to elevate while you're sleeping. Thus, you feel more alert, energized, and ready to exercise when you do wake-up.c) Hormones prepare your body for exercise by regulating blood pressure, heart rate, blood flow to muscles, etc.6. For many people, that appointed time every morning becomes something they look forward to. It's time they've set aside to do something good for themselves...to take care of their body and mind. Many find that it's a great time to think clearly, pray, plan their day, or just relax mentally.7. Research has demonstrated that exercise increases mental acuity... on average it lasts four to ten hours after exercise! No sense in wasting that while you're sleeping. :)8. Exercise first thing in the morning is really the only way to assure that something else won't crowd exercise out of your schedule. When your days get hectic, exercise usually takes a backseat!9. If finding time to exercise is difficult, anyone can get up 30 to 60 minutes earlier to exercise (if it's a priority in your life). If necessary, you can go to sleep a little earlier. Also, research has demonstrated that people who exercise on a regular basis have a higher quality of sleep and thus require less sleep! :)10. You'll feel GREAT! DO IT! :)Author and exercise Physiologist, Greg Landry, offers free weight loss success stories and articles, and unique weight loss programs at his site.. http://www.greglandryfitness.com/ Thank You Greg Landry!

Sensible Diet Tips

Start your diet with a food diary, record everything you eat, what you were doing at the time, and how you felt. That tells you about yourself, your temptation, the emotional states that encourage you to snack and may help you lose once you see how much you eat. Instead of eating the forbidden piece of candy, brush your teeth. If you're about to cheat, allow yourself a treat, then eat only half a bite and throw the other half away. When hunger hits, wait 10 minutes before eating and see if it passes. Set attainable goals. Don't say, "I want to lose 50 pounds." Say, "I want to lose 5 pounds a month." Get enough sleep but not too much. Try to avoid sugar. Highly sweetened foods tend to make you crave more. Drink six to eight glasses of water a day. Water itself helps cut down on water retention because it acts as a diuretic. Taken before meals, it dulls the appetite by giving you that "full feeling." Diet with a buddy. Support groups are important, and caring people can help one another succeed. Start your own, even with just one other person. Substitute activity for eating. When the cravings hit, go to the "Y" or health club if possible; or dust, or walk around the block. This is especially helpful if you eat out of anger. If the pie on the counter is just too great a temptation and you don't want to throw it away, freeze it. If you're a late-night eater, have a carbohydrate, such as a slice of bread of a cracker, before bedtime to cut down on cravings. Keep an orange slice or a glass of water by your bed to quiet the hunger pangs that wake you up. If you use food as a reward, establish a new reward system. Buy yourself a non-edible reward. Write down everything you eat - - everything - including what you taste when you cook. If you monitor what you eat, you can't go off your diet. Weigh yourself once a week at the same time. Your weight fluctuates constantly and you can weigh more at night than you did in the morning, a downer if you stuck to your diet all day. Make dining an event. East from your own special plate, on your own special placemat, and borrow the Japanese art of food arranging to make your meal, no matter how meager, look lovely. This is a trick that helps chronic over-eaters and bingers pay attention to their food instead of consuming it unconsciously. Don't shop when you're hungry. You'll only buy more fattening food. Avoid finger foods that are easy to eat in large amounts. Avoid consuming large quantities of fattening liquids, which are so easy to overdo. And this includes alcoholic beverages. Keep plenty of crunchy foods like raw vegetables and air-popped fat-free popcorn on hand. They're high in fiber, satisfying and filling. Leave something on your plate, even if you are a charter member of the Clean The Plate Club. It's a good sign that you can stop eating when you want to, not just when your plate is empty. Lose weight for yourself, not to please your husband, your parents or your friends. Make the kitchen off-limits at any time other than mealtime. Always eat at the table, never in front of the TV set or with the radio on. Concentrate on eating every mouthful slowly and savoring each morsel. Chew everything from 10 to 20 times and count! Never skip meals. Submitted by Joe R.

12 Keys To Super-Charging Your Metabolism For Weight Loss!

You hear it all the time - "metabolism", but what is it? It's the process of converting food to energy (movement and heat). Metabolism happens in your muscles and organs and the result of it is what we commonly refer to as "burning calories". Metabolism is essentially the speed at which your body's motor is running."Basal metabolism" is the metabolic rate or caloric expenditure needed to maintain basal body functions such as your heart beating, breathing, muscle tone, etc. It's how fast your "motor" is running when you're still in a reclined position or sleeping. Basal metabolism accounts for about 75% of the calories you expend on a daily basis! The good news is that there are 12 ways you can "boost" your metabolism! The more of these you're able to incorporate into your life, the more you'll boost your metabolism. That means you'll be expending ("burning") more calories 24 hours a day!1. Always eat breakfast! Skipping breakfast sends the message to your body that you're starving because you haven't had food in 18+ hours. As a protective mechanism, your metabolism slows down. Food, especially complex carbohydrates, fuels your metabolism.2. Eat earlier in the day! Research has demonstrated that you can lose weight simply by eating a substantial breakfast and lunch, and a light dinner. Dinner should be eaten as early as possible, preferably at least four hours before bedtime.3. Never eat less than 1200 calories per day! Less than 1200 is usually not enough to support your basal metabolism and thus will slow your metabolism.4. Snack frequently! Complex carbohydrates (fruits, vegetables, and grains) fuel your metabolism. Also, snacking prevents you from becoming too hungry. The hungrier you are, the less control you have over what and how much you eat.5. Eat more carbohydrates (food from plants), and less fat (food from many animals and other food with added fat)! Carbohydrates boost your metabolism and have fewer calories per weight than fat.6. Do some type of aerobic exercise (walking, jogging, swimming, stationary cycling, aerobic dancing, etc.) on a daily basis (preferably in the morning)! Forget this twice-a-week stuff. Our bodies were designed to be active on a daily basis! When we are, our metabolism soars!7. In addition to your regular aerobic exercise, take a brisk 10 to 15 minute walk at lunch or in the evening. This serves to boost your metabolism even more!8. Tone your muscles with weight training three days per week. Toned muscles send your metabolism through the roof. Do it!9. Look for situations to be active. Park as far from the store as you can rather than looking for the closest parking spot. Use the stairs rather than the elevator, a broom rather than a blower, etc. Look for the "hard" way to do things!10. Avoid alcohol! Alcohol depresses your metabolism and stimulates your appetite.11. Drink 60+ ounces of water a day. Your metabolism needs plenty water to function properly. Carry a bottle of water with you and drink frequently throughout the day.12. Avoid the"3 P's".....pills, powders, and potions! There are NO quick fixes! Get started today! You'll feel better and your metabolism will be in "great shape"!Author and exercise Physiologist, Greg Landry, offers free weight loss success stories and articles, and unique weight loss programs at his site.. http://www.greglandryfitness.com/ Thank You Greg Landry!

Are You Drinking Enough Water?

Are You Drinking Enough Water?
Most people have no idea how much water they should be drinking, and most Americans live from day to day in a dehydrated state. They don't drink enough water. Without water, we would be poisoned to death by our own waste products and toxins resulting from metabolism. Water is vital to digestion and metabolism, acting as a medium for various enzymatic and chemical reactions in the body. It carries nutrients and oxygen to the cells through the blood, regulates body temperature and lubricates our joints (which is particularly important if you're arthritic, have chronic muscular-skeletal problems or are athletically active). We need water to breathe; we lose approximately one pint of liquid every day just by exhaling. If you are not in "fluid balance" you can impair every aspect of your body's physiological functioning. Dr. Howard Flaks, Beverly Hills:"As a result of not drinking enough water, many people encounter such problems as excess body fat, poor muscle tone and size, decreased digestive efficiency and organ function, increased toxicity in the body, joint and muscle soreness (particularly after exercise) and water retention." Proper water intake is the key to weight loss," says Dr. Donald Robertson, Scottsdale, Arizona. "If people who are trying to lose weight don't drink enough water, the body can't metabolize the fat, they retain fluid, which keeps their weight up, and the whole procedure we're trying to set up falls apart." "I'd say the minimum amount of water a healthy person should drink is 10 eight-ounce glasses a day," he continues, "and you need to drink more if you are overweight, exercise a lot, or live in a hot climate. Overweight people should drink an extra eight ounces of water for each 25 pounds that exceeds their ideal weight." Your water intake should be spread judiciously throughout the day, including the evening. Dr. Flaks cautions against drinking more than four glasses in any given hour. Always check with your physician before embarking on a water intake increase program. You may ask, "If I drink this much water, won't I constantly be running to the bathroom?" Initially, yes, because of the hypersensitivity of the bladder to increased fluids. But after a few weeks, your bladder calms down, and you urinate less frequently, but in larger amounts. There is a difference between pure water and other beverages that contain water. Water is water. Obviously you can get it by consuming fruit juice, soft drinks, beer, coffee or tea. Unfortunately, while such drinks contain water, they also may contain substances that are not healthy and actually contradict some of the positive effects of the added water. Dr. Jerzy Meduski, Los Angeles, California: "Beer contains water, but it also contains alcohol, which is a toxic substance. Beverages that contain caffeine, such as coffee, stimulate the adrenal glands; fruit juices contain a lot of sugar and stimulate the pancreas. Such drinks may tax the body more than cleanse it." Another problem with these beverages is that you lose your taste for water. The way to interpret all of this, therefore, is that the recommended daily water intake means just that--WATER! Exercise Melts Body Fat

Exercise Melts Body Fat
If you want to reduce your body fat, focus on increasing the amount of exercise you get rather than decreasing your food intake. A recent national study was done using two groups of sedentary men, one group in their 20's and the other over age 65. A lot was learned from this accumulated data and it is interesting to note that there was a significant relationship between lack of physical activity and fat. Not surprisingly, the most sedentary men had the most body fat. These studies have also indicated that the governments current recommended daily allowance for calories does not correlate with the body's actual energy needs. For example, although 2400 calories have been calculated for older men, they in fact burned an average of 2800 calories daily. The leading experts now recommend that people who want to lose weight start increasing their physical activity. Just being more active in general (such as climbing the stairs instead of taking the elevator, moving around instead of sitting still, sitting up instead of lying down as well as showing some excitement and enthusiasm instead of boredom), are things that more effectively burns calories and reduces body fat. Everyone seems to have lost sight of the value of being active. Consider this, a half-hour aerobic workout accounts for far less energy expenditure than our minute-to-minute movement in the office or at home. Millions of Americans are trying to lose weight, spending approximately $30 billion a year on diet programs and products, often they do lose some weight. But, if you check with the same people five years later, you will find that nearly all have regained whatever weight they lost. A national panel recently sought data to determine if any commercial diet program could prove long-term success. Not a single program could do so.Being seriously overweight and particularly obesity predisposes individuals to a number of diseases and serious health problems, and it's now a known fact that when caloric intake is excessive, some of the excess frequently is saturated fat. People who diet without exercising often get fatter with time. Although your weight may initially drop while dieting, such weight loss consists mostly of water and muscle. When the weight returns, it comes back as fat. To avoid getting fatter over time, increase your metabolism by exercising regularly. Walking is one of the best exercises for strengthening bones, controlling weight, toning the leg muscles, maintaining good posture and improving positive self-concept. To lose weight, it's more important to walk for time than speed. Walking at a moderate pace yields longer workouts with less soreness - leading t more miles and more fat worked off on a regular basis. High intensity walks on alternate days help condition one's system. But in a walking, weight-loss program, you are not requried to walk an hour every day as some people would have you believe. When it comes to good health and weight loss, exercise and diet are inter-related. Exercising without maintaining a balanced diet is no more beneficial than dieting whle remaining inactive. Losing Weight Takes Effort

"The heights by great men reached and keptWere not attained by sudden flight,But they, while their companions slept,Were toiling upward in the night."~~Henry Wadsworth LongfellowIn order to take advantage of losing weight and being successful, you must be prepared--that means " paying your dues." Nothing is more frustrating than to see that you are gaining weight again. Be in a position to benefit from your failure. It pays to be prepared, and that comes down to plain, hard work. It's not usually glamorous. It's not always exciting. It's not always fun. It is, however, always necessary. By being prepared, you have to create a game plan to get back on track right away without beating yourself up and devastating your self-esteem. My game plan is taking it a bite at a time. What's your's? Maybe it's taking it a day at a time, going back to your diet tomorrow. Maybe it's getting angry and becoming more determined then ever to succeed. Have you ever been at a Weight Watchers or TOPS meeting and noticed several people there who are slim and trim? What about those Jenny Craig and Nutri/System ad's with their before and after pictures? They make losing weight look so effortless, but remember, in reality, these people have been dieting for years. Without effort and action, you will not succeed. You can't wish your weight away. You have to work at it and be prepared for those times when you slip, so you can pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move on... Losing weight demands preparation, effort and commitment to come to fruition. Submitted Rita Katlin. Used with author's permission.

Why People Fail At Weight Loss

Why do so many people fail at losing weight? Is it because they are lazy? No. Is it because they are addicted to food? No. Is it because they aren’t good at exercising? No. Failure at weight loss stems from a few main factors: 1) People don't truly understand the risks of being overweight. Why do most want to lose weight? Most would say to look better. Looking better certainly is a benefit of losing weight, but this shouldn’t be the sole reason to lose weight. There is a 1000 pound gorilla in the room and it’s often ignored. Being overweight for a long period of time kills thousands of people each year. Thousands of studies have show and proven without any doubt that losing body fat will improve and lengthen your life. This eBook will give you a picture of the dangers of being overweight. Knowing the dangers of being overweight is a tremendous motivator to not only lose fat, but to keep it off. 2) People don't commit to permanent lifestyle changes. So many people think of a "diet" as something temporary. When they are on a "diet" they restrict themselves so much that they are miserable. Sooner or later failure is inevitable because of the unreasonable demands of most "diets." Some of these diets force you to only eat certain foods (e.g., no carbs, special soups etc…) You, like myself, have probably tried them before. The key to losing weight long term is to make gradual lifestyle changes you can stick to forever. 3) Most individuals are not provided the truthful facts of losing weight and becoming healthier. With the conflicting information in the media, and all of the different lose weight quick fad diets, it’s understandable why so many people really don’t know the truth about losing fat and keeping it off long term. We will go over the no-nonsense truth. 4) Most people don't understand they are constantly either gaining fat, or losing fat. There is no in-between. Some people justify binging or giving up because they hit a small road-block. This isn’t an all or nothing game. For example, when I was overweight, if I ate an unhealthy lunch, I’d go ahead and eat an unhealthy dinner since I already "messed up" the day. Or I’d say, I’ll start eating healthy on Monday since I’ve already eaten poorly this weekend. Every person at times eats too much. The successful people will not let a road bump completely derail their entire lifestyle change. If you are not implementing positive lifestyle changes and losing weight, you are gaining weight. Again, there is no "in-between." 5) Most people don't realize what they consume each day. So many overweight people eat thousands of extra calories and fat without realizing it. It’s tough to know if you are gaining weight or losing weight each day unless you are keeping an eye on what you’re consuming. Later in the eBook you will be given an easy way to keep track of your consumption. This article was written by Rob B, the creator of FreeWeightloss.com, and the author of the Ultimate Weight Loss eBook.

Lose Weight and Keep It Off by Fixing Your Leaky Roof

Lose weight and keep it off by fixing your leaky roof, what does that mean? Let me explain.
Let's say you are enjoying a relaxing day in your home and you suddenly hear a loud clap of thunder. You look out the window and see what looks like a wall of water approaching. As the rain hits your house, you hear what you think is water running. You come around the corner and find water pouring into your house, there is a leak in your roof! You grab a bucket and put it under the leak to catch the water. It's raining so hard the bucket fills up and you have to empty it. The heavy rain doesn't stop for an hour, the bucket keeps filling up and you have to keep emptying it.
Finally the rain stops, you survey the damage and start to think about your problem. You come up with two solutions:
1) The bucket was doing a good job of catching the water from the leak, but after you would empty it, it would keep filling up. Maybe the bucket is the problem. If you buy a new (bigger) bucket, when it rains again it won't fill up so fast, so you'll be able to empty it less often. 2) The roof is leaking, so obviously there is a hole in it. If you fix the hole, the leak is stopped. When it rains again, the roof won't leak so you won't need the bucket anymore.
Common sense says you fix the leak in the roof and end the problem.
How does this apply to weight loss and keeping the weight off? Most people struggle with weight problems because they cannot resist temptation. They are not able to resist the temptation to overeat at meal time and/or binge on junk food. They approach temptation (the leaky roof) and dieting (emptying the bucket) like this. Instead of fixing the hole in their eating habits (learn to resist temptation), they go on a diet (empty the bucket). Since they haven't fixed the hole in their eating habits, they gain the weight back (fill up the bucket).
Common sense would say fix the hole in your eating habits so once you lose the weight you can keep it off. However, since being overweight is an emotional issue for most people, they don't use common sense. Instead of deciding to fix the hole so they can lose weight and keep it off, they instead go on another diet (empty the bucket again). They ignore the hole in their eating habits and instead blame the diet. "I lost weight on the diet but I gained it all back. The problem must have been the diet. To solve the problem, I'll start a new diet (start emptying the bucket all over again).

If you learn how to resist temptation you close the hole in your eating habits. Temptation will continue to come but since you've closed the hole, it no longer has power over you like it did in the past. When you learn to resist temptation, you eliminate the need to diet again once you have lost the weight you want to lose.
So what do you want to do? Do you want to fix your leaky roof (learn to resist temptation) or keep dieting (emptying the bucket over and over again). The choice is yours.
God bless.

The Secret to Healthy Weight Loss Diets

Losing weight is seemingly simple - expend more calories than you take in and you will lose weight. As millions of dieters can tell you, though, losing weight isn't as easy as it sounds. In order to use more calories than you consume, you either have to eat fewer calories, burn more calories through exercise, or a do combination of both. The problem with this is that eating fewer calories often results in hunger and lack of energy.
A diet that will provide nutrients and energy, as well as a satisfying amount of food, is one that will result in permanent healthy weight loss. So what is this diet?
The secret is the concept of calorie density. The best foods for weight loss are bulky and high in nutrients while being low in calories. This is why vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes are excellent foods to eat for weight loss. They contain a large amount of water and fiber to satisfy hunger, and they also contain a lot of nutrients to provide energy and promote overall health.
On the other hand, the foods dieters should avoid provide very few nutrients, contain little water or fiber, and are high in calories. Fat and/or sugar are what make foods calorie dense and nutrient poor. We all know which foods these are! Ice cream, hamburgers, deep dish pizza, and cake are just a few examples.
If you want to be satisfied and feel healthy on a weight loss diet, you have to eat foods that contain a lot of water, fiber, and nutrients. Eating these foods will make you feel great! And when you feel good and see the scale moving in the right direction, it can be easier than ever to keep losing weight.

The reason many diets fail is that they just plain make you feel miserable. They rely on nutrient-poor, fiber less foods like meal replacement shakes and bars. These diets are destined to fail because they can't be sustained over the long term. No one can eat like that forever!

Diets that do work are ones that make you feel so good you want to keep it up. Eating nutrient-packed vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes along with low fat meats and dairy products (if you so desire) is healthy, satisfying, and will result in reaching your perfect weight and optimum health.Thomas writes articles and guides for people who want to lose weight. Wu Long Tea for Weight Loss

Wu Yi Tea is such an incredible product and well worthwhile implementing in your daily routine. This well known Chinese Tea made a famous appearance on Oprah with Dr Oz. Wu Yi Tea is partially oxidized. Wu Yis taste is more like green tea than black tea and is usually drunk on its own without milk. You will also find that the quality of Wu Yi loose leaf tea is superior to Wu Yi tea bags.
For centuries there have been some incredible claims for the properties of Oolong tea, and not just about weight loss. According to some it lessens signs of aging, increases energy levels, improves your teeth, even reduces hair loss. It is also considered beneficial improving the immune system...the list continues.
This is a truly amazing product and well worth sourcing to bring into your life's every day routine. Find some on the net at http://wulongteahouse.net or simply go to your local Asian speciality store. Research so far has indicated that Wu Long Tea boosts the metabolic rate and definitely assists with weight-loss.
By increasing the metabolic rate you will find that you also have more energy. This is worth considering if you feel lethargic or suffer from low energy levels. A Japanese journal claims that this tea can increase the body's ability to burn fat. This declaration has increased the demand of Oolong Tea, and it is meant to be scarce in supply.
It is usually thought that this tea is extremely expensive. Wu Long Tea does vary in price from being inexpensive to over $20 for a very small quantity. Higher quality Wu Long is usually more greener with tinges of green. A weeks supply will usually set you back around $5. Black tea and Green tea come from the same plant, Camelia sinensis. The differences in taste and colour are due to the way the leaves from the plant are processed. Wu Long Tea tends to be an in between colour...more brown, with the higher quality teas showing tinges of green.
If you are looking for a solution to loose weight, or just want to improve your health then consider strongly incorporating a few cups a day into your routine. I can personally recommend Oolong Tea as being extremely beneficial. From being a regular coffee drinker I have for years felt sluggish with low energy levels. Dont get me wrong ..I adore coffee, but drinking Oolong as a replacement has made a noticeable difference.Thomas writes articles and guides for people who want to lose weight. Acupuncture Weight Loss

Acupuncture for weight loss is very effective as it challenges the body to work more effective, increasing the free flow of qi which in turn improves digestion, increases energy and reduces craving as absorption of minerals is increased.
Changing the shape and size of your body is important but changing the mindset is equally important if not more important. What i mean is changing your attitude towards yourself and your body. It will take effort, discipline, persistence and action to name a few but the key is to never give up.
This is why acupuncture works well and supports the whole body on every level as we are operating on different planes, we have a physical body, an intellect and are spiritual beings. When i say spiritual i mean we are creative beings, we have got the ability to choose our own thoughts. Now before we go any further this must be clearly understood.
The great achievers in the world do not necessarily agree on everything but one thing they do agree on is that we become what we think about. We have an infinite supply of power flowing to and through us but it is up to us to develop and use it to change ourselves, by changing our thoughts, our feelings and our actions.
Therefore if a person wants to lose weight and they go through a series of cleanses and diets then they may lose weight but eventually it may well return. One of the reasons for this is because they worked on the physical body but what about their self image, their thoughts and their feelings towards themselves. Have a very detailed image of the body you want in your mind eye. In your leisure time you must think of it, first thing in the morning and last thing at night you must hold the image of the you you want to create. It is hard work but thought energy is the most potent energy there is.
Choosing our thoughts and being grateful for that image in the mind eye changes the vibration we are in, and helps us focus and stay on track. Always start an affirmation with I am so happy and grateful now that i am.... slim, healthy and full of vitality.
Daily tasks must be done everyday to accomplish your goal. Creating good habits will create change until these habits become automatically in your life. It may not feel so good at the start as you are moving outside your comfort zone but stick with it as your mind does not like change but just focus on your goal and never mind the obstacles. Your tasks are stepping stones towards your goal so when the going gets tough the tough gets going.Thomas writes articles and guides for people who want to lose weight. Three Fast Weight Loss Diet Plans that Work

Two Basic Approaches Traditionally a fast weight loss diet strategy would be to reduce the amount of calories consumed in a day and this is an effective approach for many. A second strategy is to consume the same amount of calories but increase activity levels. The two approaches will produce weight loss very effectively and quickly. Whatever particular Fast Weight Loss Diet you choose will be dependant on your lifestyle or amount of discipline you have. Both Fast Weight Loss Diet plans will provide challenges that must be met in order to achieve your weight loss goal. Check out some Fast Weight Loss Diet Programs here healthy diet progams for fast weight loss at:http://www.weightlossattack.com/fast-weight-loss-diet-plans.php. Eat Less Assessing your eating habits and modifying them is a fast weight loss diet approach that can lead to weight loss. If you simply cut down on the number of high calorie carbohydrates you can decrease calories significantly. Reducing the amount of bread with meals is a good example of eliminating calories from carbs. Eliminating some condiments from meals can decrease calories easily as well. A careful look at portion sizes is also important as you may be consuming more than your body needs. If you look carefully at your meal content you can find ways to simply and easily reduce the amount of daily calories. Burn More Calories One effective fast weight loss diet strategy involves burning off more calories by increasing your exercise level. This can be done in many different ways that are both enjoyable and effective. Finding informal or formal ways to burn more calories will lead to fat and weight loss. This can be a walking, hiking or swimming program. Most find this target goal sustainable and achievable. These programs are easy and enjoyable at the same time. check out the best diet plans for fast safe healthy weight loss at:http://www.weightlossattack.com/safe,-effective-and-fast-weight-loss-diet-plans.php Two-Prong Approach The most effective fast weight loss diet approach is certainly the combination of counting calories and burning fat. Because it involves both approaches, weight loss will occur on two fronts at the same time. This strategy will burn fat in less time but with a drawback. The key to this approach is not to do too much too quickly and give the body time to adapt to the change. The reduction of calories and the increase of exercise should be approached in increments not to exceed 5% per week. Eating more smaller meals per day increases your metabolism to help burn fat faster. Just be certain to be aware of the total amount of calories you are eating. Be Reasonable When you are forming your expectations of a fast weight loss diet make sure your goals are realistic and safe. Losing weight or exercising progressively is the best approach for long term results. Taking it slow can lead to long-term success but going too fast can lead to set-backs. A reasonable amount of fat loss per month is between 5-8 pounds. When you have decided on an exercise program for three days a week make sure you go all three days per week. Take each step in your fat loss plan slow and easy and look at the long-term sustainability of such a plan. Getting the Most Benefits from the Master Cleanse Lemonade Detox Diet

From celebrities to natural health enthusiasts, the master cleanse diet has caught the attention of many out there. It has also been the subject of a lot of controversy of whether or not the detox diet does what many claim it to do. The master cleanse diet, which also goes by various other names such as; the lemonade diet, the master cleanser, the lemon cleanse, the master cleanse fast, the maple syrup diet and even the cayenne pepper diet. This diet, orignally created by Stantley Burroughs, uses a method meant to "flush" the body of years of built-up, embedded toxic waste from the body. Many have claimed it to be the "miracle diet", while others call it "snake oil" and nothing more. The believer of this detox diet claim it to provide a plethora of benefits such as extreme weight loss (up to 40 lbs. or more in just a couple weeks), increased vitality, total rejuvination, mental clarity, increased sexual vigor, increased energy, a power packed immune system, a way to identify food allergies which the invidual may not have known they've had (a very important part of the diet) and many have even claimed the diet to cure them of many diseases and illnesses which they attribued to built up toxins, pollutants and waste in which the body wasn't able to cleanse itself. Whether you believe the master cleanse diet is capable of doing all these things or not, one thing is for certain, there is a "right way" and a "wrong way" to go through the ten day master cleanse challenge. Below are tips for those attempting the master cleanse fast to get the most benefits possible while minimizing risks. 1. Do your homework - It can not be said enough. Do as much research as possible before attempting the lemonade diet. Read books, go to online forums, do whatever you can to educate yourself. Like with any diet, if you are serious enough to attempt to change your life for the better, you must be willing to sacrifice a little time to study about what you are doing. 2. Ask questions - whether its an online forum or your doctor, make sure you ask plenty of questions and learn about other peoples experiences before taking on the detox. Make sure you are a prime candidate for getting the benefits of the diet and by doing so, minimize risks that you may not even know exists... until you ask someone. 3. Follow the Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet to a "T" - Absolutely do not cut corners! The master cleanse diet was developed for a specific purpose to provide specific benefits. Do not cut corners and follow the master cleanse fast to a "T". Like with any diet, it is extremely imortant that you do not get careless and take your health seriously. This will also help you minimize any negative side-effects you may get by not following proper procedure with the diet. 4. Get the Master Cleanse Guide - This guide will allow you to go through the cleanse painlessly while helping you to get the most benefits with the least amount of problems. Having a guide gives you a useful resource that you can refer to whenever you need it. In addition, the guide will show you how to lose the weight and keep it off for good. One of the major benefits of the master cleanse diet is weightloss, but by not doing it correctly, you can actually gain more weight as where the diet is designed for permenant weight loss. Again, it all goes back to doing your research and going through the cleanse properly to get the most benefits. Whether or not you are a fan of the master cleanse lemonade diet or simply believe it to be hogwash. One thing can not be denied. It is important to make your health and safety first priority in whichever diet, detox of fast you are considering. Anyone in natural medicine will tell you "Do your research first". All to often people will attempt a diet haphazardly and end up with negative consequences, but not you. You will be knowledgeable, educated and smart enough to make the right decisions about your body when it comes to the master cleanse lemonade detox diet.

What Is The Truth Behind The Digestive Cleansing Weight Loss System?

Since recent studies reveal obesity has now reached epidemic proportions, now more than 40% of Americans alone who are labeled "obese!" Children are now considered "fatter than ever" by most experts, developed diabetes when these same children grow into adults! In today’s world people have no time to spend for workout as they are busy managing other things in life. However, the bottom line is that every overweight individual wishes to shed off the extra kilos that he/she has gained. People adopt different methods to shed that stubborn extra fat they have amassed. Some join gym and other fitness centers while some appoint personal fitness instructors at home. Some start running and swimming regularly. However, very few people try and reach to the root cause of the problem of overweight. Colon cleansing is a very good way of cleaning your stomach and making the digestive system function in the most proper way. You might get a shock of your life when you hear the fact that there are cases where in about 30 pounds of waste has been excreted from a human body after a colon cleansing program. Facts about digestive cleansing weight loss system: We know that our bodies store fat when we consume too many calories, and it burns this stored fat for energy when we decrease our caloric intake. However, poisons in environment, chemical toxins (flavorings, artificial colors, preservatives, MSG and pesticides) in our food, lead and chlorine in water, and other, as well as parasites that can lodge themselves in our digestive systems, all contribute a significant role in our weight gain and in our difficulty to lose weight and keep it off. Cleansing of the colon means cleaning all the waste and the toxic that must have got accumulated on the walls of your intestine. This has been documented and scientifically proven by health & wellness experts all over the world. One of the ways the liver deals with impurities or toxins entering your body is to increase body fat to engulf these impurities and protect the vital organs and systems of your body from this destructive influence. The reason many diets are not successful for long-term weight loss is because they don't address the need to cleanse the body of toxins. When you lose, excess fat dissolves and the toxins that were trapped inside your fat cells are released into your bloodstream and circulated throughout your body-usually causing headaches, fatigue, aches, pain, dizziness, moodiness, and other symptoms. Some of these toxins are naturally excreted through the bowels, kidneys, and the pores of your skin. But without a cleansing regimen, the body is unable to remove all of these toxins, so it begins working diligently to once again, lock them away inside of "new fat tissue". This is why people tend to regain weight so easily after most diets and exercises. The body also attempts to defend itself from intruding toxins by wrapping the toxins in a wall of mucus within the digestive system in order to lessen the damaging effects, but over time this internal waste can reach a point of critical mass causing it to slowly rob you of your health, strength, and energy. The heavy mucus coating in the colon thickens and becomes a host for putrefaction. Parasites breed there, and the blood capillaries to the colon begin to pick up the toxins, poisons and noxious debris as it seeps through the bowel wall and into the bloodstream (this is often referred to as Leaky Gut Syndrome). At this point, all tissues and organs of your body are taking on toxins... and you've moved way past weight loss problems, to deteriorating health. These unhealthy parasites and mucoid plaque block the bodies natural ability to absorb vitamins, minerals and other nutrients properly. They also posion your body by letting of toxic chemicals directly in your blood stream on a daily basis. It would be wise to seriously consider incorporating an effective but gentle colon cleansing diet program into your overall weight loss plan. The reason is that if you're actually infested with internal worms and parasites, than there's little that you can do in order to lose weight which will actually work until you become clean. Colon cleansing can be done in a variety of different ways. As with any kind of health related practice, natural is not the only way to gobut the preferred way. One simple and natural way to start your colon cleansing program is to drink room temperature water; at this temperature, water will help to cleanse the bowel and even has some natural obesity-fighting properties. Include the fiber in your diet. Not only does fiber help to cleanse your colon, but fiber ties to fat molecules and carries them out of your body, leading to weight loss in several cases as the fat is naturally eliminated from your system without being digested. Fasting can help to cleanse the colon and when done in moderation can also aid in weight loss. There are a variety of herbs which also have colon cleansing properties. A couple of the more well-known herbs include Indian gooseberry and Hoodia Gordonii. How to Work From Home without Gaining Weight!

It happened so fast; I gained 15 pounds in my first four months of working from home! No one warned me that there was this unwanted side effect of having a dream job working from home. That’s understandable though because I was working in a male dominated business; I don’t think my colleagues related to chocolate chips the same way I did. That was back in the late 1990’s, before I became a full-fledged entrepreneur. A handful of chocolate chips (I kept a bag in the freezer.) was my response to any emotion. It might have been procrastination, boredom, difficulty making a decision, stress, or disappointment over a lost sale – it didn’t matter, back and forth to the kitchen I went! My total weight gain was just over 20 pounds when I recognized this non-hungry eating for what it was and implemented the following behaviors: 1. Incorporate movement. Here are some ideas to substitute movement when you find yourself reaching for food when you are not hungry: a. Take a short walk outside to get some fresh air. b. For a quick pick me up, do a few stretches in your office. I especially like the power lunge where you stretch the opposite arm out along with the leg lunge. c. Workout for 10 minutes. This raises my energy so I go back to my desk refreshed. A much better high than the chocolate chips gave! You can ride your bike around the block, walk up and down your stairs, dance to your favorite tune, or work out with a DVD or your wii. Just 10 minutes will get you back on task for work. 2. Take scheduled breaks from work. I noticed when I started working from home I didn’t take regular breaks and instead took those frequent trips to the kitchen. To eliminate that bad habit, I added more structure to my day. Now I give myself a break at certain times, say 10am and 3pm, and those are the only times, other than for meals, I allow myself to go to the kitchen (for a healthy snack). I take movement breaks at least once an hour, but limit kitchen trips during working hours. If I notice that I am emotionally craving food, I may also take 10 minutes with one of these things to distract myself from eating: a. Do something that involves your hands – like a Sudoku puzzle or weeding your garden. b. Call a friend or write in a journal. c. Put a comment up on your favorite social media site (Caution – getting sucked into hours on the Internet may be more harmful to you than a few chocolate chips.). 3. Choose to love yourself. Self-talk such as “You fat slob – you’ll never be able to leave your home office now because nothing fits except those sweats you’ve been wearing everyday for the last three months!” didn’t really motivate me to make better choices. Instead, those thoughts probably drove me further into the chip bag! When I made the choice to nurture and love myself, which included discovering why I had the emotional reactions in the first place, I was finally able to consistently make better food choices and maintain a schedule. When you notice you are diminishing your self-worth through your own thoughts, you can: a. Flip immediately to a positive thought. b. Repeat affirmations that support your goals. c. Visualize yourself at your ideal weight. Most importantly, use the emotional responses that are occurring during your day as personal growth experiences. There may be limiting beliefs, such as “you are not capable, deserving, worthy, etc.” that you can discover and release once you examine the thoughts that are behind the urge to eat when you are not hungry. Once I uncovered my limiting belief that I had to be perfect to be accepted (loved, promoted, etc.), I was able to let the chocolate chips go! I’ve found that all challenges require both inner and outer solutions. I’ve provided you with tips for making outer modifications in points 1 and 2 above and inner change in point 3. When you make the inner shifts first, you’ll find that it’s much easier to stay committed to the outer actions you decide to implement to stop non-hungry eating when you work from home.

The Fastest Way to Lose Weight - Unearth Two Key Secrets to True Fat Loss

Do you struggle to lose stomach fat? Have you asked yourself, "What's the fastest way to lose weight?" Am I correct in thinking you've tried every trick and technique you can think of to lose your gut, to no avail? I imagine you've seen hundreds of commercials and infomercials claiming you can lose pounds of stomach fat by simply taking some sort of dietary supplement or miraculous fat burning compound. How about all of the bogus infomercial gadgets out there claiming you can reduce your stomach fat in a matter of days just by strapping some worthless "ab-belt" around your waist, or sizzle away the stomach fat by using their patented "ab-roller-rocker" do-hicky. Come on now! I hope you've been able to see through all these scams and gimmicks and realize that stomach fat reduction is not an overnight endeavour. Since the scams and gimmicks don't work, let's discuss some concrete strategies and techniques to determine how to take your stomach fat off, and keep it off for life! These strategies, when combined, comprise the fastest way to lose weight. The first important principle we'll discuss is how you structure your workouts. In order to stimulate fat loss from your stomach, you need to stop wasting so much of your time doing all kinds of abdominal exercises and hundreds of reps of crunches, leg lifts, and torso twists in the hopes of "spot-reducing" your stomach and love handles. I'm sure you know by now if you've read any reputable fitness publications over the last decade that spot-reduction does not occur. It's a myth that just won't seem to go away. Targeting the abdominal area with specific exercises will not result in the loss of stomach fat. Most people spend too much of their time attempting to target the abs with tons of exercise. This isn't meant to imply that all ab exercises are a waste of time. A certain amount of ab exercises are great and help to strengthen your core and maintain a healthy back. But the fact is that direct abs exercises should only be a small portion of your workout routines. The majority of your time should be spent focusing on multi-joint exercises that work the largest muscle groups of the body like the legs, chest, and back. Focusing on big multi-joint exercises for the largest portions of your body greatly increases your metabolic rate both during the workout, and for 24-48 hours after the workout. It is one of the real secrets for ridding yourself of that sloppy stomach fat for good. In addition, this also stimulates an increase in fat-burning hormones within your body. You simply don't get this type of metabolic and hormonal response by wasting most of your time with "abs-pumping" exercises. Want to lose stomach fat? Do some deadlifts, squats, lunges, and work on your chest and back. It doesn't matter if you work with barbells, dumbbells, or even bodyweight exercises. The focus needs to be on big multi-joint exercises at a high intensity. That means no 5-minute rest periods between sets! The second important principle to rid yourself of that flabby stomach revolves around your nutrition. It's important to realize that "diets" are a short-term solution to weight loss, and are actually counterproductive in your efforts to keep weight off permanently. You see, if you follow any of these fad diets like low-carb, or low-fat, or the grapefruit diet, the soup diet, or anything else that restricts 1 or more of the macro-nutrients (protein, carbs, and fat), most of the time you will actually lose lean muscle and lower your metabolic rate. This only makes you fatter in the long run, when you start to eat normal again! It's important to stop falling for the fad diet gimmicks, and understand that we are meant to eat a balanced diet full of a diverse array of foods from healthy natural sources of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Only through a well-balanced diet will your body obtain all of the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and antioxidants it requires to remain healthy and burn fat. I could go on and on with dozens more strategies for losing your belly fat fast, the natural way, but this article can only be so long, so see below to download a free report detailing some of my best fat-loss strategies for helping you to flatten that belly and uncover those hidden abdominals of yours.
